On Friday, five local residents met with Epsom & Ewell Borough Council to discuss the ongoing nuisance. E&EBC Officer’s left the meeting with a much clearer understanding of the scale of nuisance and the impact this is having on the community.
Residents noted that the nuisance is statutory nuisance and as such the Council must discharge its statutory obligations.
Also on Friday a number of residents received a letter from E&EBC and it is encouraging that after so many months they are set on a course of action
The Envronment Agency also issued an update and residents continue to press for further enforcement action.
A flyer has been circulated by Michael Ware a local activist and it is important that we keep complaining and objecting. The flyer can be downloaded.
