In the previous consultation exercise of 6 July 2021, the County Planning Authority
omitted to include an email dated 2 July 2021 from the Agent which should have
been included as part of this exercise.

The County Planning Authority apologises for this oversight, and for any confusion
or concern this may have caused.

A further consultation exercise will therefore be undertaken, for a further period of
14 days, in order that the omitted email can be made available for inspection and
comment.

In the meantime, it should be noted that the description of development for planning
application ref: EP21/00223/CMA has changed since it was originally submitted.

The original description of development was as follows:

retaining wall; provision of new site surfacing and drainage; construction of
buildings for sorting and bulking of mixed skip waste and skip storage; crushing and

This description has now changed to the following:
Change of use of an existing Waste Transfer Station to a Materials Recycling

including: demolition of existing building; reinforcement of retaining wall; provision
of new site surfacing and drainage; construction of buildings for the bulking and

inert waste materials; use of an office; retention of existing workshop; installation of
weighbridge; retention of entrance gates and fencing; and, provision of car parking
[part retrospective].

The above-mentioned change has been made in order to better reflect the
proposed development which has been applied for. No additional physical
infrastructure or mechanical processes are proposed beyond which was originally
applied for, and the change of use and extension of the site the subject of the
application are still sought.

The website lists the documents in date order followed by the plans in date order.
If you wish to express a view on this proposal, please do so in writing within 14
days of the date of this letter. The County Council try to take account of any late

Yours faithfully
